So the author of this blog is a little busy…

…and quite lazy.

 

Tis the season for doing stuff around the house.  We will see if I can come up with the cash/time to do these projects I so desire to do.  My new job (I will use getting a new job as an excuse for not updating or actually doing anything with this site) has me off on Thursday and Friday.  I think this will actually make me do more around the house as pretty much everyone else in the world is working on these two days and I have no one to encourage my goofing off.  (as if I need ANY excuse or help to goof off.)

So anyway, I will certainly try to update this thing a bit more often…or at all.

After having re RE disposed of the monster, our hero embarks…

So partially because I am a lazy bastage and somewhat due to my tendency to WANT to do something until I think I HAVE to do it, I am getting around to starting this thing.  As I had mentioned previously, I would like for this to be a source for friends (and strangers…whoever you are) to look at when purchasing a house.  Also I would like to include all the stuff that I do to my funky, ancient abode to make it the coolest place on the planet.  Some of this will be common sense, some of it will be (hopefully) interesting and entertaining, and some of it will probably be WAY out of my skill level.  Thankfully, I am friends with some of the most naturally talented folks (in my opinion) around.  (I’m sure there will be many amusing comments to that particular statement if and when the monkeys of whom I am aluding to read this)

Time to lean, time to clean

Yeah, I haven’t forgotten this quite yet.  Work is a bit busy and a tiny bit sketchy at the moment, not to mention the fact that I seem to have contracted the plague.  I knew nosing around in those French catacombs wasn’t a good idea.

 Big plans are in the works…well…plans are in the works.

Hello world!

So here it is.  I have no idea where to go from here, but seeing that like 2 other people know this exists, I don’t think I am in a terrible rush.

 I hope to make this a sort of homeowners / homebuyers blog where fine citizens can come to get some straight information.

 Note to self: Get digital camera to take pictures of all the home projects I am about to embark on.  Of course, “about to” means sometime in the next five years.
